Google made some changes to how AdSense publishers can add the Google powered search engine to their websites. You can now find the option to add the search engine to your website under the By Ad Unit tab in the ad section, and there’s this new button for that.
This button was added around noon on Thursday, November 12th. Here is the button:
This is the button in the user interface. You can see it has been added to the other ad units (click to enlarge):
Google said they added it to “simplify the build flow, to make building a search engine faster and easier”. Google also “added a preview so you can see what ads will look like on your search results pages before they’re shown.”
